I’ve been thinking long and hard (lol I said long and hard) about taking a new approach in regards to the theme of this blog. Technology blogs are a dime a dozen which is one of the reasons why I have lost interest in posting.
I’ve decided to write posts that are more geared toward science and philosophy rather than technology.

Pretentious douchebag screenwriter Josh Olson recently wrote an article titled “I Will Not Read Your Fucking Script” in which he explains his reasoning.
First off, the man makes a valid point. I must admit I do agree with him, though I believe he is taking the wrong approach toward this issue. By being a total dick all he is doing is alienating himself from all the powers that be in Hollywood. Okay sure, his message is directed toward all the no-name writers out there, but it’s not just that. It’s his display of social dynamics that will get him separated from the Hollywood money teet.
Josh’s “dick” approach could be justified only if he was viewed as a legendary icon. Unfortunately for him his resume isn’t up to par. Just because you had one successful oscar nominated film (A History of Violence) doesn’t mean you can be a dick to people. Pen a few more good flicks and then you can be the biggest dick to everyone.
